We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025, at the age of 91, Josephine M. Rieger of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josephine M. Rieger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel C. Defemio and Anna Morrone Defemio; and her husband Robert Rieger. She is survived by: her sisters, Dianne DaRonco of York, Annette Barone of Poughkeepsie, NY and Lois DeMartino of Sarasota; her nephews, Louis Barone, Robert Barone, Anthony Barone, Frank DeMartino and Joseph DaRonco; and her niece Michele Messick.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the G. Miller & Son F. H. (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Church (118 Cedar Valley Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).

Memorial Donations may be made to: Hospice Foundation, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
