Jean O. McHugh Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean O. McHugh of Poughkeepsie, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean O. McHugh to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis O'Neill and Catherine O'Neill (Crane); her husband Edward "Ned" McHugh; her sons, Timothy of Wappingers Falls and Edward (Maryann) of Seal Beach, CA; and her brother Francis O'Neill.
She is survived by: her children, Richard McHugh (Irene) of Salisbury Mills, NY, Molly Pulido (Javier) of San Mateo, CA, Ellen Finnell (Robert) of Rockville, MD, Francis McHugh of Wappingers Falls, NY, Kathleen McHugh (Amy Westerman) of Harbeson, DE and Jean Jabbour of Morristown, NJ.; her grandchildren, Javier Pulido (Milli), Catie Rueda (Ricardo), Moira Pulido, Bill Gomez, Katherine McHugh, Meagan Batchelor (Tom), Tim Finnell (Hannah), Bridget Van Fleet (Ryan), Clare Knott (Chris), Joseph Finnell, Jerry, John, Jessica and Jillian Jabbour; and her sister Karen O'Neill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Church (118 Cedar Valley Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (11 Clinton St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jean's name to Mount Alvernia Seminary, 158 Delavergne Ave #1260, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590, or St. Mary's Church 11 Clinton St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
