He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Shea and Mildred O'Shea (Galbraith); his wife Theresa DeGilio (Terri); his sister Marilyn Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy O'Shea, John F. DeGilio (Skip) and Barbara DeGilio (Frace).

He is survived by: his children, Robert O'Shea (Bob), Kathleen A. Schibanoff, Denise M. Watson (Patrick), Kevin J. (Diane) and Christopher J. O'Shea; and his brothers, John O'Shea, Richard E. O'Shea (Cathy) and Thomas O'Shea (Annaliese).

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Church (118 Cedar Valley Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be sent in his memory to Hudson Valley Hospice.
