He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Bliss and Carolyn Fitzgerald; his sister Elizabeth Murphy; his wife Maria Barone; and his son David.
He is survived by: his sister Judy; his siblings-in-law, Elaine, Jeanette, Dennis and James; and his nephews, Steve (Kerry), Michael (Maureen) and Brent (Debbie). He is also survived by grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, plus a number of nieces, nephews.
