We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2024, at the age of 82, Henry Parslow of Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Henry departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Henry may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Henry leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Parslow and Melissia Parslow. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Parslow White (Robb) of Cape Coral, FL and Faith Yearack (David) of Poughkeepsie, NY.; his grandchildren, James Simpson II (Brittnie), Kimberley Simpson Cotton, Patrick Simpson, April Yearack and Erik Yearack; his brother John; his sister-in-law Arlene Parslow of Hunter, NY; and his close friend Judy Terns of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Darrow's Funeral Home (39 S Hamilton St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601). A procession was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery (342 South Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
