Kaufmann of Poughkeepsie, New York, born in Flushing, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Kaufmann and Luise Kaufmann (Schmid); his wife Gloria J. Richard; and his son Richard F Kaufmann, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen A. Kaufmann and Penelope J. Fox (Robert); his daughter-in-law Beverly Kaufmann; his grandchildren, Christine Bruns (Robert), Richard F. Kaufmann (Kelsey), Emily Kaufmann, Addison Hinrichs (Caitlyn) and Johnathan Hinrichs (Michael); his great grandchildren, Michael Bruns, Caleb, Lyam Kaufmann, Audrey and Alex Britain; and his brother-in-law Tim Kaplan. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Hudson Valley for their compassionate care during Fred's final days at home.
