It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Martynek of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Don José Alvarez and Doña Milagros Rodriguez; and her husband Arthur O. Martynek. She is survived by: her sons, Ernesto and Raul; her grandchildren, Joseph, Marcelina, Andres, Steven, Alejandro and Santiago; her great grandchildren, Katerina, Joseph Jr. and James; her sister Milagros; her nieces, Marina and Lola; her nephew Esteban; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lola, Paula, Dani, Alvaro, Alex and Victor; and her daughter-in-law Ursula (John Alberg).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army, an organization Dolores felt strongly about.
