She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Roundtree and Annette Robinson Roundtree; her spouse Vidal O. "Dusty" McKenzie; her sister Dolores Walker; and her granddaughter Shanna Cora Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Alicia Walker (William), Stephen E. Boone, Jr. of Poughkeepsie, Eric Boone of Florida and Antoinette McKenzie of Poughkeepsie; her siblings, Ned Roundtree (Stephanie) of California, Obie Roundtree (Pam) of Wisconsin, Archie Roundtree (Phyllis) of California, Michael Roundtree (Marites) of Florida, Jerome Roundtree of Nevada, Linda Braxton (Darren) of Poughkeepsie, Margaret Bennermon (Donnell) of Poughkeepsie and Annie Gamble (Shawn) of Georgia; her grandchildren, Charles M. Drake, William R. Walker, Victoria Gilkes, Olivia LaValle and Corey Slater; her great grandchildren, Jasmine and Rainer; and her close friend Elizabeth Dolfinger. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home (55 E Main St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
