She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sherwood and Ann Sherwood; her stepmother Mabel Sherwood; and her sister Patricia Sherwood. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lang; her children, Steven Lang and Bridget Smith (Ian); her grandchildren, Gretchen, Jacob and Alice; and her siblings, Michael Sherwood (Susan), Robert Sherwood (Wanda) and AnneMarie Massucci (Thomas). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Church (1590 Main St, Pleasant Valley, NY 12569). The inurnment will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery (342 South Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601).
Her love, generosity, and infectious humor will be greatly missed by all. 'In Lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to the American Heart Association, the Dutchess County SPCA, or Animal Rescue Foundation.
