It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara A. Plass of Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nate Plass and Ann Plass; her spouse Van Henry Plass, Jr.; and her siblings, Nate, Pete, Donald, Ronnie, Patty, Mickie, Joanne and Irene.
She is survived by: her sons, Thomas Plass and Van Plass (Cathy); her siblings, Ralph, Harold Plass and June VanBurskirk; and her caregivers, Joylette, Michelle, Amorosia and Melinda. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the William G. Miller and Son Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
