He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Stone and Ruth Stone (Howard); his son Joseph H. Stone; and his former wife Nancy Lacosse. He is survived by: his wife Lynda L. Stone; and his children, Carl Stone (Melissa) of Howardsville, VA, Robert H. Stone (BJ), Brian Stone (Jen) of Potsdam, NY, Gary Stone (Melanie) of Newport News, VA and Valerie Stone (Mark Bellucci) of Potsdam, NY.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home (4 Cedar St, Potsdam, NY 13676). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
