He was predeceased by: his brothers, Tom "Toady" Olmstead and Michael Olmstead; and his parents, John "Buddy" and Grace Olmstead (Sevey). He is survived by: his siblings, John Olmstead (Rini McFerran) of DeGrasse, Dan Olmstead of Potsdam, Mary Thisse of Madrid and Pam Poste of Parishville.
