With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Walter Gilbert (Potsdam, New York), who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Isaac and Gloria Mae Gilbert (Frank); and his sisters, Vera Phillips and Penney Burdick. He is survived by: his wife Diane Marie Wells; his children, Joseph Gilbert (Brittany Brothers) of Parishville, Jesse Gilbert (Brooke) of Vermontville and Jared Gilbert of Parishville; his grandchildren, Sienna, Tiena, Alexander, Brock and Lorelia; his sisters, Ethel Gilbert (John Peretta) of Madrid, Sylvia Earle (Gordy) of Parishville, Connie Gilbert-Antwine (Tim) of Edwards and Mary Gilbert of Parishville; and his brother-in-law Steve Burdick.
Memorial donations may be made in Nelson's memory to the Parishville Fire Department.
