Meryl S. Cummings Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2024, at the age of 92, Meryl S. Cummings (Potsdam, New York), born in Schenectady, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Meryl departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Meryl may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Meryl leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Schiemer and Gertrude Elizabeth Schiemer (Coppernoll); her husband Marshall H. Cummings; and her sister Doris DiLorenzo. She is survived by: her children, Joel Cummings of Central Square and Kimberly Cummings of Brasher Falls; her grandchildren, Ezra and Cesily; and her brother Kent Schiemer of Schenectady. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in Meryl's memory to the Potsdam Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
