Marion Russell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion Russell of Potsdam, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Gibson and Elizabeth Gibson (Montle); her husband Lloyd Russell; her daughter Julie Dashno; her grandchildren, Adam Dashno, Emily Dashno and Joseph Russell; her siblings, Warren Gibson and Gloria Jenks; and her daughter-in-law Pam Dashno.
She is survived by: her children, Dana (Christopher Truesdell), Warren Dashno, Gregory (Kim Dashno), Rhonda Sawyer (Bob Brothers), Lloyd (Joanna Russell), Lori (Ted Hudson), Charolette (Pete Thomas) and Robert Peck (Carolyn Meachum); her sisters, Mary Lunderman and Ferne Austin; and her pets, Riley and Riggie. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Potsdam Humane Society, reflecting the joyous spirit with which Marion lived her life.
