He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth A. Gay; his sons, Louis R. Smoke, Jr. and Mark P. Smoke; his daughter-in-law Carol Smoke; and his siblings, Christie Mitchell, Elizabeth Smoke, Joseph, Alex, Mitchell and Henry Smoke.
He is survived by: his sons, Mitchell Smoke of Akwesasne and Brandon Smoke (Natalia) of Akwesasne; his daughter-in-law Becky Smoke of Akwesasne; his grandchildren, Riley, Kristian, Nathan, Aleesha, Alan, Brayden, Braxen and Raelynn; and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Scarlet, Letti and Jett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ron's Funeral Service (1126 River Road, Snye, QC H0M1A1).
