He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie LaPoint; his siblings, Donald, Ronnie, Robert, Stanley, Beverly, Norma, Barbara and Eleanor; and his parents, Homer LaPoint and Harriet Jerome.
He is survived by: his children, Brad, Michael, Peter Lapoint (Tammy), Tracy Champion (Dale) and Kimberly Pryce; his grandchildren, Heather, Shannon, Kevin, Brandon, Matthew, Zachary, Nicholas, Thomas and Kaelyn; and his great grandchildren, Hailey, David, Declan, Zander, Callen, Orin and Evelyn.
