With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John K. Patraw (Potsdam, New York), born in Massena, New York, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Patraw and Patricia Patraw (Wendt). He is survived by: his children, Patricia Sweet (Garrett), John Patraw Jr. (April) and Michael Patraw; his grandchildren, Jayden, Alora, Caleb, Michael Jr. and Savannah; and his sister Kelly Bush (Harold).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Red Cross.
