He is survived by: his children, Eldon Garlough (Lucy) of Florida, Glenda LaWall (Randy) of Nunda, Debby Duffy (John) of Florida, Lesa Wilson (Michael) of North Carolina, Jean Holst (David) of Glenmont and Kay Richards (James) of Lisbon; his stepchildren, Larry Sawyer (Cathy) of Gouverneur, Bryan O'Shea of Potsdam, Ryan O'Shea of Fort Drum, Sandra Mitchell of Oxbow, Pansy Higgins (Ralph) of Gouverneur and Penny Slate (Duane) of Oxbow; and his wife Virginia Rood. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
