She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo James and Ethel Victoria Converse (Thurston); her husband Robert H. Barr (Bob); and her siblings, Edna Murray and Lawrence Converse.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Lana Barr), Robert Barr of St. Cloud, James Barr of Albany and Alan Barr of Sanfordville; her granddaughters, Janet Smith (Justin), Kathleen Tromans (Travis) and Laura Cooke (Richard); her great grandchildren, Klara, Jiri, Patrick, Keegan, Holden and Violet; her sister-in-law Sue Converse of Fort Jackson; her nephew Roger Murray; and her niece Denise McGowan.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in her memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
