With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene D. Alexander (Potsdam, New York), who passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father William Newkirk; and her brother Roger Newkirk. She is survived by: her mother Mary Newkirk (Hester); her husband James "Kip" Alexander; her sons, Devin Newkirk of Potsdam, Kipper J. (Tiffany Alexander), Dawayne Alexander (Amanda Locey) and Marquese Jones of Massena; her grandchildren, Maiesha, Michael, Deontae, Alonzo, DeAndre, Tatiana, Devontae, Carter K and Tre'von; her siblings, William Newkirk, Kenny McDowell and Ellen LaVar; and her mother-in-law Pearl Alexander. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and family.
Memorial donations may be made in Darlene's memory to a Cancer Research Charity.
