It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Ann Lapointe (Potsdam, New York), born in Lake Placid, New York, who passed away on November 9, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald J. LaPointe Sr.; her siblings, Peter Belmore and Nancy Forte; and her parents, Richard E. Belmore and Gladys I. Eddy.

She is survived by: her children, Renee J. Dominie (Daniel) of Canton, Ronald J. LaPointe, Jr. (Laura) of Saranac Lake and Ryan J. LaPointe (Tammy Burgenstock) of Madrid; her grandchildren, David H. LaPointe (Kate) of Brewerton, Devon, Colin LaPointe of Saranac Lake and Taylor Pickett of Watertown; her great grandchildren, Rudy, Jack, Nolan and Declan; her siblings, Wayne of Potsdam, Richard Belmore (Beth) of Island Pond, Vt., Judy Samson (Sam) of Cornwall, Ont and Debbie Murphy (Frank) of Ellenberg Center; and her sister-in-law Marlene Ashley (Bud) of Potsdam. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
