Charles Lanning Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Lanning (Potsdam, New York), who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Sr. Lanning and Delilah Lanning (Williams); his wife Kathy; his son Charles Edward Lanning, Jr.; and his grandparents, Leon, Eleanor Jandreau, Edward and Rose Martha Lanning.
He is survived by: his daughter Martha (Robert); his stepdaughter Patty Tyo of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Tyler, Dakota, Catlin Brothers and Zachary Gardner; and his brother Christopher Lanning, Jr. (Carol).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may consider memorial contributions to be made in his memory to be made to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Cancer Center or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
