He was predeceased by: his father Jack D. Houben. He is survived by: his mother Mary Kay Palumbo Houben of Olean; his sisters, Elizabeth Numeracki (Michael) of Belmont and Lisa R. Houben of Olean; his nieces and nephews, Shaw Shearer, Ravyn Cramer (Tyler) and Cydney Graves; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Delilah, Ivy, Chevelle, Leinad and Lincoln; and his close friend Bella.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any local Veteran Organization in his memory as veterans were very important to Steven and he contributed often.
