He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick R. Steadman and Elizabeth L. Robinson Steadman; his wife Linda A. MacDonald; his stepdaughter Tina M. Thomas; his son-in-law Joseph Miller; his sisters, Peggy Helfin and Gloria Seaman; and his brother-in-law Dennis Meyers.
He is survived by: his children, Richard R. Steadman Jr. (Amy) of Friendship and Amy L. Miller of Portville; his stepchildren, Peggy S. Crippen of New Port, Ray E. Thomas of Phippsburg and Randy E. Thomas-Garcia of Lincoln; his siblings, Shirley Riehle (Larry) of Friendship, Barbara Meyers of Lisbon, ME., Carol Schutt (Eric) of Lisbon, ME. and Robert (Aurora); his nephew Frederick Childs (Tosha) of Wellsville; and also Kevin C. Rasey. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
