It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Hood of Portville, New York, born in Lancaster, New York, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Victor Hood and Irene Glow Hood; his wife Lynda E. Sparatta; his children, Shane M. Hood (Colleen) of Allegany, Melynda T. Strawser (Jason) of Painted Post and Megan M. Sikorski of West Seneca; his grandsons, Mason Strawser, Luke Hood and Matthew Hood; and his siblings, James Hood (Di Yang) of Albion, Sharon Basehart of Boynton Beach, FL, William Hood (Helen) of Lancaster, Victor Hood, Jr. (Donna) of Franklinville, Maryann Hood of Lancaster, Michael and Thomas Hood. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
