He is survived by: his wife Lorena Ellis; his children, Donald Ellwood Jr. of Arcade, Richard Ellwood (Celeste) of Nebraska and Tina Fitzgerald (Scott) of Castile; his grandchildren, Carissa Johnson of Castile and Michael Strathearn of Hornell; his great grandchildren, Jacob Poler, Noah Strathearn and Lucretia Strathearn; and his brother Dwight Ellwood of Wiscoy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
