He was predeceased by: his parents, Krikor Tarpinian and Serun Tarpinian; and his siblings, Berjouhi Tarpinian, Beatrice "Betty" Cobb (Russell) and John Tarpinian (Sharon).
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Anne Tarpinian; his children, Peter Tarpinian, Gregory Tarpinian (Kimberly), Anne Tarpinian (Richard) and Andrew Tarpinian (Maura); and his great grandchildren, Peter Tarpinian (Rebecca), Michael Tarpinian, Katherine "Kate" Tarpinian (Eli), Luke Tarpinian (Tina), Nicholas "Cass" Tarpinian, Aidan Tarpinian, Ryan Kushnir, Leo Kushnir, Paige Leonard (Joshua), Mila Chicoine and Olivia Tarpinian. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, in addition to his grandchildren.
