With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Irene E. Bergin of Port Washington, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Brooks and Josephine Brooks; her husband Dr. James F. Bergin; her children, Eileen Crabill (Steven), Ann Bergin, Martin Bergin (Barbara), Kevin Bergin (Michelle), James Bergin (Lucia) and William Bergin (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, James (Danielle), Kelly (Liam), Annie, Michaela (Wilson), Ryan (Tegan), Meaghan, Mackenzie, Timothy, Harrison, Luca, Juliette, Claire, Eric and William; her great grandchildren, Isla and Seamus; her sister-in-law Mary Tartaglione; and her siblings, Edward and Dorothy.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairchild Funeral Chapel (1570 Northern Blvd, Manhasset, NY 11030). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Peter of Alcantara Church (1327 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Nassau Knolls Cemetery (500 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050).
