Alan Helman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alan Helman of Port Washington, New York, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Alan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alan farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Helman and Nathan Helman; and his son Gordon. He is survived by: his close friend Evie Wyman; his children, Susan (Michael) and Neil (Betsy); his grandchildren, Ariel, Benji and Eli; and also Florence.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
