He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Mooney and Mildred Rocker Mooney; his wife Constance May "Connie" Salmon; his granddaughter Chloe Burdick; and his siblings, Susie Houghton, Mary Lou Wearne, Vernon Mooney, Kenneth Mooney and Joseph Mooney.
He is survived by: his children, John Burdick, Sr. (Cheryl), Michelle Cowell (Clifford) and Kevin Burdick (Holly Yelton); his grandchildren, John Burdick, Jr., Mitchell Burdick, Kayla Weber (Ryan), Derek Carpenter (Katie), Mackenzie Dorrity (Taylor), Shawna Burdick and Kaleb Burdick; his great grandchildren, Isabella Burdick, Gannon Burdick, Laila Burdick, Jordan Weber, Danika Weber, Mariah Dorrity, Mallory Dorrity and Susie Carpenter; his brothers, Dick (Mona Mooney), Ted (Darlene Mooney) and Keith (Nancy Mooney); and his sisters-in-law, Paula Mooney and Elizabeth Mooney. He is also survived by grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
