She was predeceased by: her parents, William Fahsing and Ruth Stern. She is survived by: her former husband Jeffrey Sanford; her children, Jeffrey Sanford Jr., Crystal Buhler (Thomas) and Heidi Schoonbeck (Daniel); and her grandsons, Matthew and Benjamin Buhler.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization near and dear to Susan's heart.
