She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorsten Hedberg and Hildur Astrom Hedberg; her husband Frank Lawrence Schips Jr.; and her sister Sonja Breitenfield. She is survived by: her children, David Schips (Nanette) of Barryville, NY. and Margot Schips of Starksboro, VT.; her granddaughters, Samantha Mary Schips and Jessica Lauren Schips of Barryville, NY; her niece Cathy Breitenfield of Alexandria, VA.; her nephew Steven Breitenfield (Christina) of Lexington, MA; and her great-nieces, Sarah, Laura and Lena.
