He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nancy Heinrich Kern and Alfred Kern; his friends, Jupe and Gina Tenke; his wife Gerriann Kern; his children, Casey, Roxanne and Megan Kern; his siblings, Billy Kern, Susan Kern, Jimmy Kern and Rosi Fournier; his grandson Spencer Jaxon Cruz; his son-in-law Bryan Cruz; and his parents-in-law, George and Elizabeth Lang. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
