He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sweet and Della Sweet; his wife Joyce Thompson; his son Jack; and his sisters, Frances Carpenter and Helen Kedmenic.
He is survived by: his daughter Janice Sweet of Pine Bush, NY; his daughter-in-law Sharon Sweet of Owensboro, KY; his cousins, Linda St. Pierre, William Boyle and Richard Boyle; and his sisters-in-law, Jane Raynor and Jean Leombruno. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
