She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Childs and Lila Childs (Peters); her husband Harold "Butter" Butterfield; and her siblings, Sherman Childs, Floyd Childs and Lucy White.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lila Gilbo (Edward) of Massena, NY, Bonnie Cutting (Larry) of Moriah, NY and Lynn Donahue (Edwin) of Crown Point, NY; her grandsons, Jason Gilbo (Kaitlin) of Massena, NY and Justin Gilbo (Julianne) of Norfolk, VA; her great grandchildren, Zoe, Mia, Jacksen and Jupiter Gilbo; and her brother Raymond Childs of Port Henry, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Elaine's memory can be made to the Port Henry Fire Department or the North Country SPCA.
