It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannette V. Hammond of Port Gibson, New York, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Viola Smith (Campbell); her husband Donald Leon Hammond; and her brothers, Kenneth Smith and Gerald Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Hammond, David Hammond (Melody Langdon), Donna Mason (James) and Daryl Hammond. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
