He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Gilbert and Stella Gilbert (Gray); and his son Scott Wayne Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Janet A. Gilbert (Borello); his children, Todd A. Gilbert (Lynn) of Kerhonkson and Wendy Hatfield (Brian) of Waleska, GA; and his sister Dolores Waring (Michael) of Clayton, IN. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
