With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucas A. Benson (Port Ewen, New York), born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on July 22, 2022 at the age of 33. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his uncles, James "Jimmy" Garibaldi and Michael Benson. He is survived by: his parents, Roger Benson and Candace Garibaldi Benson; his sister Jessica Benson; his aunts and uncles, Charles "Uncle Chuck" Garibaldi, Valerie, Joseph Boshart, Patrick, Barbara Benson, Kevin, Karen Benson and Leila Toomey; his godson RJ; and his nephew Cole Vasquez.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1905 in his memory.
