He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Sheffer and Joyce Domanico Sheffer. He is survived by: his daughters, Taylor Sheffer of Ruby and Leah Sheffer of Ruby; his siblings, Dr. LeRoy Sheffer of Pleasant Valley, Margaret Sauer (Eric) of Ulster Park and Christian Sheffer (Colleen) of Kingston; his granddaughter Emma Claire; and his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Eric Jr., Joshua Sauer, Tyler Swart and Gianna Sauer-Kish.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests making donations to the Mended Hearts Program which is the nation's premier peer support program for patients who have cardiovascular disease.
