He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schering and Ethel Schering (Guernsey); and his sister Marilyn Schering. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Schering (Gatto); his daughters, Diana Schuldt (Ralph) and Elisa Heggenstaller (Lori); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Stephen, Brian, Daniel, Eric, Christopher Schuldt, Jessica and Laura Durdon; and his brother John Schering.
