She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Kumpan and Mary Kumpan; her siblings, Mary Mras, Louis, Joseph (Rosemary), Bill (Adele), Albert and Dan (Kay); and the father of her children George Gardner.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Gardner (Barbara), Joyce Gardner-Ketchuck, Judy Gardner and Laura Evans (David); and her grandchildren, Michele Gibson, Lisa Henke (Paul), Sarah Householder (Jason), Misty Perkins and Nicole Anthony (Eric). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
