Catherine L. Richards Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine L. Richards of Port Dickinson, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" and Eva Craig; and her siblings, Iris Liner (Carl), Harold Craig (Helen) and Lester "Butch" Craig.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Richards; her children, Thomas Richards (Sharon), Susan Gabriel (Charles) and Sharon Snyder (Donald); her grandchildren, Amy, Tonya (Patrick), Erin (Greg), Charles (Lisa), Dennis (Christa), Emma (Randy), Abigail and Chace; her great grandchildren, Megan, Jordan, Mackenzie, Connor (Taylor), Nicholas, Zachariah, Isaac, Aria, Teagan and Levi; her great great grandchildren, Arabella and Giovanni; her granddaughter Penny (Dave); and her sisters, Ann Lauer, Connie Weist, Pauline Torrance, Sr. (Thomas), Jean Marie Craig and Geraldine Craig. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Shea Funeral Home, Inc. (137 Robinson St, Binghamton, NY 13904). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (282 Chenango St, Binghamton, NY 13901).
