He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn; his daughter Diane Smith; and his brothers, Frank and Ed. He is survived by: his daughter Debra Cushner (Michael) of Binghamton; his grandchildren, Michael Cushner (Jennifer), Robert Smith (Allison), Kevin Cushner, Rebecca Smith and Victoria Smith; his great grandchildren, Calvin Smith and Julien Cushner; his brother Paul Gidzinski (Adele); his sister-in-law Jackie Gidzinski; and his friend Audrey Egan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
