She is survived by: her children, Celestine, Sanders of Raleigh, Brenda Sawyer of Kinston, Frances Jones, Linda Horn of Port Chester, NY, James Irving of Port Chester, NY and Velma Sutton-Bailey; and her sister Jean Carol Brown of Kinston. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
