Jean Florio Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Florio of Port Chester, New York, born in Greenwich, Connecticut, who passed away on May 22, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rocco Pennella and Gertrude Pennella (Powell); her husband Alfred Carl Florio; and her siblings, William Pennella, Tina Lavery, Mary Keller, Catherine Greto and Angie Coppola.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Focht (James) of Dagsboro, DE and Rosemary Padin of The Villages, FL; her grandsons, Matthew Focht (Julie), Mark Focht and Gregory Padin; and her great grandchildren, Jantzen, Griffin, Tyler and Emerson Focht.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Mrs. Florio's name to the Don Bosco Community Center Food Program, 22 Don Bosco Place, Port Chester, NY 10573 or The Vitas Care Connection, 6909 Old Highway 441, Suite 105, Mt. Dora, FL 32757 - the organization that provided Mrs. Florio with wonderful care in her last days.
