He is survived by: his wife Esther Rodriguez Chicaiza of Port Chester, NY.; his children, Antonio Chicaiza of Port Chester, NY., Ivan Chicaiza of Hillsdale, NY., Margarita Maldonado (Jose) of Claverack, NY. and Maria Chicaiza of Hillsdale, NY.; his grandchildren, Anthony Chicaiza, Jose Maldonado, Jr., Ivan Chicaiza, Jr., Crystal Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Sophia Brito, Kevin Barrientos and Christian Barrientos; his son-in-law Rufino Barrientos of Bridgeport, CT.; his siblings, Galo Chicaiza of Ecuador and Inez Chicaiza of Ecuador; and his nephew Robert Chicaiza of Greenwich, CT..
