He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Germany; his wife Cecelia Katz; his daughter Naomi Leiseroff (Van Wallach) of Katonah; and his granddaughter Emma Battaglia (Mike Battaglia) of Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center in White Plains.
