He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Tamburri Vitti; his wife Catherine; and his siblings, Louise Colletti, Joseph D. Vitti, Jennie Pierro, Ada Giordano and Gerard Vitti.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Vitti (Alla) of Old Tappan, NJ, Elizabeth Vitti of Danbury, CT, Lisa Salcuni (Paul) of Brookfield, CT and Suzanne Vitti (Timothy Lynch) of Eastchester; and his grandchildren, Erica Salcuni, Paul Michael Salcuni, Nicole Salcuni, Juliana Vitti and Brandon Vitti. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
