He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur K. Mapley Sr. and Doris Van Norstrand Mapley; his cousin Charles Mapley; and his brother Richard Mapley. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Trysha and Scott; his granddaughters, Chloë Mapley and Madeline Weibley; and his siblings, James Mapley (Elizabeth), Shirley Palen and Linda Millus (Ronald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter.
